Our Irish peat comes directly from Ireland. If you into peating your own malt this is a great way to do it.

directions: 1kg of peat is enough to cold smoke 10kg of malt. Your malt must be cold smoked no higher than 30 degrees C as it could break down the enzymes in your malt. The best is to place your malt onto a mesh tray and slightly dampen it with a spray bottle with water. then cold smoke for a couple of hours the longer the better. when it dries out dampen again till you can smell the amazing aromas of your very own peated malt.
