Spirit caramel can be used as a colouring agent to enhance the rich brown colour associated with barrel-aged spirits

It is preferable to add the caramel 1 drop at a time in order to prevent over-colouring. Do this until you reach your desired shade.

Please note that this is a colouring agent only and will not impart any flavour to your spirit.
