This rose and cucumber gin recipe makes 750ml of fresh, floral gin.
Ingredients:
- 24g Juniper berries
- 12g coriander
- 12g cucumber slices
- 3g angelica root
- 3g rose petals
- 2g cubeb pepper
- 4cm slice orange peel
- 4cm slice lemon peel
- 0.5g caraway
- 750ml Neutral spirit
Method:
- Soak botanicals in a neutral spirit at 35-40% ABV for 5-7 days
- Filter the macerated spirit through muslin cloth to remove botanicals
- Transfer the liquid into a pot still and dilute down to 10% ABV
- Distill using a pot still
- Dilute final product down to 43% ABV
- Bottle and enjoy!
