Easy Limoncello recipe that makes a sweet and smooth citrus liqueur



  • Remove the lemon zest from the lemons
  • Place lemon zest with the 500ml of alcohol, in a sealed Jar.
  • Leave to soak for 10 days in a cool dark place.

After 10 days

  • Place 500ml of water in a pot and add 400g of sugar
  • place pot on the stove and warm up
  • keep mixing till the simple sugar goes clear
  • allow to cool
  • filter the lemon and alcohol threw a strainer.
  • Add simple sugar to the mixture and combine.
  • Once mixed it’s ready to bottle your Limoncello
