This floral gin recipe makes a fresh-tasting gin using rose petals however they can be substituted with an alternative floral of your choice.
Ingredients:
- 1L 80-95% neutral spirits
- 12g Juniper berries
- 12g coriander seeds
- 12g cucumber
- 3g angelica root
- 3g rose petals
- 2g cubeb pepper
- 4cm sliced orange peel
- 4cm sliced lemon peel
- 0.5g caraway
Method
- Add your botanicals to the neutral spirits.
- Let the mixture soak overnight.
- The following day, filter your mixture through a cheese cloth or coffee filter.
- Dilute the liquid down to 40%.
- Distil liquid slowly through a pot still
